About Us
Elements of Magical Living is the creation of experienced Pagans based in Maine.
Star Weaver, co-founder of Elements of Magical Living, is a recent transplant to Maine from New Orleans, where she led a circle and taught for several years. She is a former national board president of the Covenants of Unitarian Universalist Pagans (CUUPS) and currently serves on the board of the Maine Pagan Clergy Association. She studied at Diana’s Grove Mystery School for several years and was an organizer for the Midwest Reclaiming Witch Camp for 2 years. She loves living in Maine and observing the changes the sacred Wheel of Life brings each day. She has written a collection of articles for Earthtides Pagan Network reflecting on a Southern’s perspective on the Wheel of the Year, as lived in Maine.
Taliesin, Star Weaver’s partner, is a native New Englander and Elements of Magical Living co-founder. He lives in southern Maine where he mixes his spirituality with his environmental work in higher education. He enjoys Nature and is a Nature shaman full of the Hwyl, showing others how to reconnect with the Earth in body, mind, and spirit. He also enjoys good food, chasing trains, tracking the stars and weather, walks in the dark of the Moon, all things Yankee and Welsh, and raising hell when he can get away with it. Taliesin was an organizer for Midwest Witch Camp for 8 years and is a member of the Reclaiming Spokes Council. He is also a member of the board of the Maine Pagan Clergy Association and an initiated Third Degree High Priest.
N. Starcat Shields has been a practicing Pagan for 20 years and is licensed as Pagan clergy. She is President of the EarthTides Pagan Network, a statewide organization. Starcat is a writer and homeschooling Mom living in southern Maine.
Jane Raeburn is a Maine Pagan writer and community leader. She is the author of Celtic Wicca, co-author of Building a Magical Relationship and editor of the poetry anthology The Pagan’s Muse. She is the founder of the Maine Pagan Mailing List and MainePagan.com, and was a founding member of the Maine Pagan Clergy Association.
Autumn, a New Orleans native, is a graduate of Diana’s Grove Mystery School where she completed a three year Rites of Passage Leadership and Priestess Training Program. She is an initiated Third Degree High Priestess and an firm supporter of all earth based spiritual traditions. She teaches with us when we do programs in Louisiana.
